- Polyethylene is extremely suitable for recycling. It is a thermoplastic material, which implies that one can melt it nearly indefinitely and then again produce products of it ;
- When polyethylene is collected after use and no longer suitable for recycling, it provides a high-quality fuel for burning ovens.
